Back to Stover Park today. Hiked the hills hard for about 1 and a half hours then a fast walk back to the car on the Yellow Trail.

Unexpectedly, I came upon this. Ava Grace 7-23-14. You can’t help but feel moved when you get a chance to connect with a stranger’s grief. We’re not ever really strangers in grief. Ava Grace was loved. Ava Grace will not be forgotten.  I put a stone on the beautiful and simple memorial. Thank you, whoever put this here; Ava’s friend. You made my day.

This is the last section of the second set of palisades on the path.  First is High Rocks. This one is less dramatic buy now for me it will be Ava’s Palisades.
