Forbidden Drive. Hiked the North side from Bells Mill Road to the Valley Green Inn. Lovely. Hilly. Perfect.
Crossed the Wissahickon Creek and headed up the entrance road toward Henry Avenue. Entered the woods near the top and followed the path out to a real road! Bummer. Followed the road down to another entrance to the park. Took that path back to Valley Green!
That was about 1hr and 50min hiking already. I decided to walk the Drive back to my car in the Bells Mill lot.
I am going to spend a lot of time there. Fill a pack and maybe TRAIN. For what you say? Don’t know yet. More will be revealed. Great Day.
