Back to the OR

Yeah. That’s me with bandage received from the surgeon the first time around. That half of my thyroid was found to have a small Pappilary Cancer hiding inside. Sooo… the rest must come out. My lymph nodes are clear. Yay! But I’m back to the table for round two. Summer now starts sometime in July. I’m getting a June surgery date.

This is the best of the worst that could have happened. Cancer contained so far.

I am a little freaked. I was so sure the biopsy would be negative!  WTF.

My wife will be flying back from Cape Town around the 20th. Also Yay! She will be here this time. 🙂

I’m going to eat chocolate and red licorice now. Bye.
