A roof top tent!
I have a Rav 4, just like the one above, standing under the tent. Yolande and I have come to a agreement. She will camp with me, if we have a set up like this!

The thinking is that we would be about as “snake proof” as possible!
In the last year or so, I have hiked somewhere in the vicinity or 500 miles or so. I’ve seen one SNAKE. A one and one half foot Garter Snake. It was harmless and terrified, as 99% of snakes are.
Irrational fear is still fear.
I kind of like snakes.
For me, it is bees and spiders. Spiders are ok unless they surprise me. I have been attacked by wasps twice in my life and once got a bee in my bicycle helmet, on a fast downhill. You can imagine how that turned out.
So I get it. If she wants to be up in the air, we will be up in the air. Besides, it looks cool, doesn’t it? I am looking forward to a night up there!
I don’t know where we’re going yet.
