I thought I went especially to see the wild ponies. I’ll go back for the landscape!!!

There was some fun bouldering, too!

Great people as always.

Flatiron, Shortstep, and Sweet Surrender who’s was from South Africa. (The first two are from Illinois)

I can’t write about the experience. I camped the first night with ponies, cows, and Longhorn Steer!

I was high for most of the second day’s hike. It was like being in Colorado! All the above with 360 degree views for 50+ miles!

Go there if you can. I’ve hiked through 9 states on the AT. This was maybe the best section EVER! (I probably have said that before!;)
