I got picked up today by my friend Sasqutch Donna. I videoed her last year telling her story about the Big Foot carrying a puppy up the mountain to the parking area she was headed toward. When she got there she found the puppy wrapped up in a blanket. That pup is 8 now. She is convinced that the Sasquatch brought it to her. I believe her. It’s way more fun that way and I really like her. So why not support the story? She is my friend. π

What a great time I had chatting with Daytona Mike this afternoon. Retired Military with medical tech training. He will apply and attend Nursing school after his hike. I gave him my number. He now knows I live 20 minutes from Wind Gap. I hope he calls! We’ll have dinner and do a resupply. Really nice guy.

I guess because he wears high socks. He’s from New Hampshire and is an experienced hiker. He’s doing about 18 a day.

These are the 4 others, besides Socks that I had dinner with tonight. “Sunshine and the Captain” have a YouTube channel. Sunshine’s partner is home editing their daily video uploads. This family has sailed all over, and lived all over the World! The Captain goes to school and Sunshine and her partner work remotely. They decided to move out of America and live a life of travel. Those kids, (there is a daughter as well) are being exposed to so much. This is such a courageous choice for a family to make. Respect. I have so much respect for people who live their own life. Sunshine said she heard a quote, “Live the Dash.” That’s the dash you see on a tombstone, between the birth and death year. They are living the dash. So many cool stories.
I wish I had more time with these people. Bear Claw has lived in CA and Oregon. Nic is from Switzerland!!! I just listened to Socks and Nick rattle off at least 2 dozen Science Fiction book titles. Asimov was the only one I knew. These two are really clued up on past and present Science Fiction writers. Very cool to listen in…
Oh right. I always title these things then write about a bunch of other stuff and end with a paragraph that explains the title!
Here’s why this is called 3/4 In. I used to be All In. Now since I’ve decided to not finish the AT, Donna my Bug Foot friend decided I should be “3/4 In” from now on!!! Done. I like it.
3/4 In.

I like it, too!
